Le salon de thé anglais Greenwoods sur le canal Singel a été fondé le 15 septembre 1988 par l’Australienne Gabrielle Mary Wheeler et Janet Isabel Pratt, ce fut un succès instantané!
En juin 2010, Daniel Post a repris et revigoré le lieu, et a introduit quelques options classiques de petit-déjeuner anglais que vous reconnaîtrez, Eggs Benedict n’importe qui? Deux ans plus tard, en 2012, un deuxième emplacement a été ouvert sur le Keizersgracht. Les gens ont dit «Hip Hip Hourra!» Pour un lieu plus grand, le même menu et maintenant… enfin; Greenwoods a de l’alcool! Mangez votre petit-déjeuner anglais complet tout en sirotant une Bloody Mary ou une bière artisanale locale tout en regardant les bateaux passer sur le magnifique canal Keizersgracht. Ce qui est mieux?
Nous avons toujours fait de notre mieux pour nous approvisionner en ingrédients locaux de première qualité et fabriquer autant de produits frais que possible sur place. Vous avez peut-être déjà entendu parler de notre célèbre pain soda irlandais fait maison, nous pouvons remercier Gabrielle et Janet pour celui-ci.

Pour réserver du lundi au jeudi, appelez-nous au (020) 623 70 71 ou utilisez notre système en ligne. Veuillez noter que nous ne prenons pas de réservation du vendredi au dimanche. Nous vous informons que nous n’avons aucune exception à cette règle en dehors des demandes de High Tea. Nous vous encourageons à passer car nous avons beaucoup d’espace pour les walk-ins.
