Greenwoods English Tearoom en el canal Singel fue fundada el 15 de septiembre de 1988 por las australianas Gabrielle Mary Wheeler y Janet Isabel Pratt, ¡fue un éxito instantáneo!
En junio de 2010, Daniel Post se hizo cargo y revitalizó el lugar, e introdujo algunas opciones clásicas de desayuno inglés que reconocerá, ¿Alguien quiere huevos Benedict?
